Accessibility Statement
Everyone should be able to use our website. We care about making our platform accessible to as many people as possible, and our goal is to align with the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards.
As a type foundry, we believe clear design and readable typography are fundamental to a good web experience. This statement describes our ongoing commitment to accessibility and how you can tell us about any issues so we can fix them.
What we’re doing
To ensure our website and e-commerce shop are easy to use, we actively work to:
- Provide text alternatives for non-text content (such as alt text for images where practical).
- Maintain sufficient color contrast and readable typography.
- Ensure interactive elements, like our font testers and checkout forms, have visible focus states.
- Ensure pages are navigable using a keyboard.
- Clearly label our checkout forms and provide helpful, easy-to-understand error messages.
- Avoid content that flashes or causes seizures.
Ongoing work
Based on our own assessment, this website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. Known areas we continue to improve include third-party checkout and consent tools (for example Stripe and our cookie consent banner), and complex interactive previews. We welcome your feedback so we can prioritise fixes.
Changes to This Statement
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We continually test and update our site to improve the experience for everyone.
If you find a barrier we missed or have trouble using our checkout process, please email hello@typeforward.com with the page URL and a brief description of the issue. We will do our best to fix it promptly.
