Return & Refund Policy
Because Type Forward provides digital font software, our products are delivered instantly. By agreeing to our terms at checkout, you expressly consent to the immediate execution of the contract and acknowledge that you waive your 14-day right of withdrawal once the download process becomes available.
For this reason, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for changes of mind, accidental purchases of the wrong license tier, or incompatibility with non-standard software.

Exceptions (When Refunds May Be Granted)
We stand by the quality of our engineering. We will consider a refund, replacement, or adjustment only under these strictly defined circumstances:
- Defective Files: If the font software is corrupted or does not perform substantially as described, and our technical support team cannot provide a fix or replacement within a reasonable timeframe.
- Duplicate Orders: If you accidentally purchase the exact same font and license tier twice within 48 hours.
- Un-Downloaded Files: If you purchased a license but have not yet generated or downloaded the font files from your secure Vault (we verify this via our internal server access logs).
- EU VAT Verification Downtime: If the EU VAT verification system (VIES) is temporarily offline during your checkout, VAT will be charged by default. In this event, please contact us with your valid VAT number, and we will manually refund the VAT amount once the system is back online.
License Upgrades
If you realize you need a larger license (e.g., upgrading from 5 to 20 Desktop Users, or adding Web usage), this is not a refund. Please contact our support team, and we will issue a custom quote or discount code so you only pay the difference for the upgrade.
How to Request Support
If you experience an issue with your font files, please contact us at hello@typeforward.com before opening a dispute with your payment provider. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us first constitutes a breach of your purchase agreement. This will result in immediate account suspension and the permanent revocation of all associated font licenses.

We may update this policy when our services or the law changes. We will post the updated version here and change the “Last updated” date.
