Your choices
Optional services are off until you allow them. Each of typeforward.com, alphazet.typeforward.com and garet.typeforward.com asks separately, so a choice on one website does not apply to another.
You can Accept all, Reject optional or Choose separately between Website statistics and Session recordings. On typeforward.com, you can also choose Referral sources separately. Closing the panel, scrolling or making no choice is not consent. Use Cookie settings on the website at any time to review or withdraw your choice as easily as you gave it.
What are cookies?
Cookies and similar browser storage are small pieces of information that help a website remember a choice, provide a requested feature, protect a transaction or, with permission, measure how the website is used.
What cookies do we use?
Necessary website functions
These run only where needed to provide a feature, remember your choice or protect the service. They do not activate Type Forward’s optional analytics.
Cookie choice (__Host-tf_consent_v1)
On each Type Forward website, this remembers that website’s separate choice. A temporary tab record may remember that you closed an unanswered notice; closing is not consent.
On typeforward.com, the choice cookie can last up to 365 days, including when you reject Referral sources. On alphazet.typeforward.com and garet.typeforward.com, it lasts for up to 180 days. Permission for Website statistics and Session recordings lasts no more than 180 days; permission for Referral sources lasts no more than 365 days. An expired permission cannot activate its purpose. An unanswered close lasts for the current tab. This storage is provided by Type Forward.
Consent-record access (__Host-tf_consent_receipt)
On each Type Forward website, after you allow a service, change your choice or withdraw it, this lets the same browser access its protected minimal consent record.
It has its own expiry of up to 365 days on typeforward.com and up to 180 days on alphazet.typeforward.com and garet.typeforward.com. It may last longer than the remaining time on your choice cookie. This storage is provided by Type Forward.
Cart, checkout and account
On typeforward.com, this keeps your cart, checkout and signed-in account working securely.
Cart indicators usually last for the browser session. A shop session normally lasts two days for guests and up to seven days for signed-in customers. Account security follows the session or login period. These functions are provided by Type Forward, WordPress and WooCommerce.
Payment security
On typeforward.com, when you open the card-payment form, Stripe processes and authenticates payment and helps prevent fraud.
This storage is used for the active payment and security journey. Some fraud-prevention identifiers may remain longer where Stripe needs them to recognise a browser and prevent abuse. See Stripe’s current Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy.
Delivery, performance and task state
On the main website and microsites as needed, this serves the correct page, remembers what you are doing in the current tab, and protects the websites.
It usually lasts for the current tab or task. Some main-website delivery settings may last about two days. The microsite Cloudflare security cookie __cf_bm, where set, lasts roughly 30 minutes to one hour. These functions are provided by Type Forward, Hostinger, DigitalOcean and Cloudflare as applicable.
Google sign-in
On typeforward.com, only after you choose “Continue with Google”, this binds the sign-in securely to your browser and lets Google authenticate the account you choose. Simply opening our sign-in page does not contact Google.
Type Forward’s temporary security records expire within 30 minutes. Google controls storage on its own pages under its Privacy Policy. This function is provided by Type Forward and Google.
Optional services
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity remain off on the current website until you separately allow their purpose. We do not use advertising cookies.
Website statistics
If you allow Website statistics, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our websites. It measures visits, popular pages, where visitors came from, approximate location and device type. Each website keeps its statistics separate and uses its own cookies.
These cookies last no more than 180 days. Detailed data about individual visitors and their activity is kept for two months; new activity does not extend this period. Summarised reports may be kept longer. This service is provided by Type Forward and Google Analytics.
You can allow Website statistics separately on each website and withdraw permission at any time through Cookie settings. If you reject Website statistics or make no choice, we do not send your visit to Google Analytics.
Session recordings and heatmaps
On eligible pages of each website, after a separate choice, Microsoft Clarity shows page interactions and technical problems so we can improve usability. Strict masking and sensitive-route exclusions apply.
Clarity may use _clck for about one year, _clsk for about one day and _cltk for the browser session; observed storage may vary. Playback is normally kept for 30 days. Click and heatmap information and selected sessions may be kept for up to nine months.
This service is provided by Type Forward and Microsoft Clarity. Microsoft may recognise the same browser across websites only after you separately allow it on those websites.
Referral sources
With your permission, Type Forward remembers how you found our shop, for example through another website, social media or an email link. This optional feature is available only on typeforward.com and helps us understand which sources lead to purchases.
We keep this history in your browser for up to 365 days. We record where each visit came from, when it happened and any available campaign details. This referral history does not include your name, email address, IP address, full web addresses or the pages you view. It can remember up to 100 such visits. The history may be incomplete if you reach this limit, clear browser data, use another browser or device, or leave this feature off for some visits.
If you purchase while permission is active, we save the recorded sources from the previous year with your order. Returning directly to our shop does not erase earlier sources, and later visits do not change an earlier order’s saved list.
You can choose this feature separately from Website statistics and Session recordings, or buy without allowing it. We collect and save this referral history only after you allow it. You can withdraw permission at any time through Cookie settings. The retention and deletion sections below explain what happens to information already saved.

Your choices
Changing your choice
Use Cookie settings on the current website to change or withdraw a choice. The change stops new collection for that purpose after it is applied. It does not undo earlier lawful processing or automatically delete information already held by Google or Microsoft. You may also clear browser storage in your browser settings.
Referral history and saved order sources
Withdrawing Referral sources stops new collection and starts clearing this browser’s referral history and removing saved referral lists from orders for which this browser still has deletion access. Removal can be pending and may need a retry; Cookie settings shows when it has not yet completed. It does not cancel purchases or remove invoices or licences. If you have cleared browser storage, changed browser or device, or cannot remove an older order’s sources through Cookie settings, email [email protected] so we can verify and handle your request.
If permission expires without renewal, the old history is no longer used. Collection stops and the browser history is cleared when the website next checks permission. Sources already saved with an order stay with that order while we keep it, unless permission is withdrawn or earlier deletion is required. Renewing permission on time keeps only sources still within the rolling one-year history and keeps their original visit dates. Giving permission after a gap starts a new history; it does not restore sources from old orders.
Browser access records used to request deletion of previously saved order sources can remain after referral collection expires. These are separate from the rolling referral history and do not permit new collection or restore old sources.
Your consent record
After you allow an optional service, change your choice or withdraw it, we may keep a protected minimal record of the website, your choices, the action, time and expiry. It helps us demonstrate your choice and protect it from tampering, based on legal obligation and legitimate interests. It can never turn an optional service on by itself.
The record does not contain your name, email address, IP address, account, order, page history or analytics identifier. This browser can view, restrict or ask us to delete it only while its receipt cookie remains. Clearing the cookie prevents later same-browser access but does not delete the server record. Restricting or deleting the record removes the saved optional choice and keeps optional services off.
The record is scheduled for deletion 24 months after the choice is withdrawn, replaced or expires. If a documented active dispute or legal hold prevents deletion, we restrict it to that purpose, review the hold and delete it when the hold ends.
Third-party cookies on other sites
If you follow a link to another website, such as an external font shop, that website may use its own cookies under its own policy. Type Forward does not control those cookies.
